Police Command Center

$79 million awarded

Together with our partner TC Electric, MLJ has been awarded a $79 million Design/Build contract to fit out the 65,000 SF Command Center for the Port Authority Police stationed at the World Trade Center.  Contract work includes architectural furnishings; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems fully integrated into the WTC systems; state of the art communications and technology systems; and other related work.  Due to the sensitivity of the project all work is being performed in compliance with Port Authority security procedures including background checks for all staff, and document management protocols for confidential/privileged information.  The project will be advanced on an accelerated schedule, with all Design and Construction work required to be completed in less than 2 years.
